Workshops start on Sept 8th in Tregaron with the 'INSPIRE' festival at the Talbot Hotel in the centre of the town. A new event for mid Wales, there will be an exhibition of crafts as well as a series of short workshops, covering a range of crafts.
I will be teaching an introduction to bookbinding session suitable for beginners which wil cover simple pamphlet books and move on to concertina books suitable as sketch books, journals, photo albums or scrap books.

This will be shortly followed by a 'Make it in Wales' session in Aberporth.
Make it in Wales is a new venture bringing creative courses to West Wales, using the wealth of knowledge at the finger tips of our artists and makers .
My workshop will be on 15th September in Aberporth. Participants will take home with them a beautiful A5 hand stitched and bound book, ready to fill with their own drawings or perhaps their family heirloom recipes. See www.makeitinwales.co.uk for further details and booking.
In October there will be a one day drawing workshop in Crymych tutored by Glenn Ibbitson with myself as the life model.
